First of all the rice should be rinse the thoroughly with
water to remove any excess starch.
Then it should be soaked with plenty of water for 30
minutes.
Now all the water has to be drained out.
Now the soaked rice is to be added to the vessel.
Should be brought to a boil over medium-high heat uncovered.
When it starts boiling, cover and lower the heat to low.
This is the best way to cook Basmati rice and savour it
later on.
